This year we decided to go to Temple Square with just our little family for family night. I am so glad we did. We went pretty early so we pretty much had all the temple grounds to ourselves. The kids are so much fun to be around. They love seeing the temple and I love having such a great little family!

Halloween was kind of a bust for us this year. Ryder was so sick, so his pic is of him at the race. We were able to go see Jadi in the school parade and Court took the kids trick or treating, so the kids still had fun, me and Ryder not so much. Mac was bumble bee, Jadi Herminey from Harry Potter and Ry was spider man.

Yes, that's right we are at another motorcycle race. This is the Halloween race and we look forward to it every year. The night before in the pits they have trick or treating, games, treats, etc. our kids LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Heck we all love it. This year we camped with our neighbors the Ercanbracks, Stocks and Sorensens. My dad also came along. He was going to sleep in the back of his truck but it was like 10 degrees outside so he ended up staying in our trailer. It was fun having him and my kids loved the sleep over with grandpa. Mac won a trophy and a new monster helmet. Court got first in his class. All in all it was a perfect trip!

What would halloween be without a field trip to the corn maze??? We went with macs class and even though it was freezing outside all the kids seemed to have a blast. We love hanging out with the Wrens, our boys always have so much fun together!

Yes this is pretty much what we do at least once a month. Oh the joys of being a wife/mom to boys obsessed with racing. Doesn't courts face look amazing in this pic? This is right after he finished his race. Obviously I only take pics of my little Mac and his trophys....oops. We really do love going to the races. Its fun to hang out with our neighbors and family oh and watch both my boys ride!!

You better believe we all dress up and go to witches night out every year. Its always so much fun to dress up with all my cousins, aunts,mom, sisters etc. and PARTYYYYYY!!! This year we pretty much just stayed on the dance floor all night long.(We were obviously born to shake it) My nose did drive me crazy, but other then that the night was a success!!

I honestly don't even know where to begin with blogging about this marathon. When I found out I got into the St. George marathon I cried and I am pretty sure they weren't happy tears. This is definitely something I have always wanted to do, but something I didn't know if I could do. So after taking 10 deep breaths I started training. The training wasn't bad at first but then the longer the miles got the more intense the training was. It was definitely more time consuming then I thought it would be. I cried after many runs wondering how in the world I was going to make it. Then for one of my 20 mile runs I ran from my moms house in Alpine all the way to my house, 21 miles. After that run I felt more confident but still super nervous. Tiffany (my training partner) hurt her foot the week of the race and thought she might have to pull out. I was freaking out. I didn't want to do this alone. Luckily she was able to run and I was soooo grateful. The thought of getting on that bus at 5am alone was enough to send me over the edge. The morning of the race started great. When I met up with Tiffany I was feeling more excited then nervous. The bus ride the 26.2 miles to the starting line was also very exciting. Everyone seemed happy! The starting line was like nothing I had ever seen before. There were runners everywhere. The line to the potty's were long. We waited in line to potty went, then got back in line to go again. haha Yes the nerves were starting again. When the gun went off I was still in line to potty, which was fine cause my chip didn't start until I crossed . The first few miles were CRAZY!!! There were so many people you couldn't really even run. It finally started thinning out a little bit and I felt great. I lost Tiffany on mile 4 but was still feeling pretty confident. I saw my bro in law Carson right before the first big hill. He and his family were there cheering and it really did help. Mile 7 to 14 was pretty much up hill. there were a few downs but it definitely felt like I was going up most of time. I still felt great. But then it started to get SOO hot. I started to feel a little over heated. They had misters set up for us to run through and that did help but the heat was super hard for me.I tried to do all my runs early in the am when it was cool, so around mile 18 I started wishing I would have trained more in the heat. GRRR Then around mile 20 my left knee started hurting so bad. I had to stop at all the aid stations to get bengay rubbed on it. I was definitely disappointed, but the only way I could keep going was to have the bengay. I knew my family would be waiting for me on mile 23 so I just kept thinking just make it to there. The first person I saw was my bro in law Tipper and as soon as he said my name I started to cry. I was happy to finally see someone I knew but so hot and tired the emotions just kept coming. Then I saw my kids cheering and holding up their signs. I tried not to cry because I didn't want them to worry. I loved seeing my fam and it was definitely the motivation I needed to keep moving. The last 3 miles were so hard mentally. I could hear everyone cheering at the finish line but It seemed to take forever getting there. When I finally crossed all my family was there cheering and it was one of the best moments of my life. I had finally made it, all 26.2 miles! They last few miles probably weren't pretty and my overall time was a little disappointing but I made it. I did it and it felt so good. When I got home Sunday night I signed my self up for next years! Now I know what its like, I want to do it better, faster ..... so here's to another year of training.

my 30th bday

Ok lets talk about crazy. Me turning 30 years old. Wow that still sounds crazy to me!! I had a lot of different feelings about turning 30. I didn't think I cared that much but when it came to the actual day it was a little hard. I know 30 is definitely not old but in my head I still feel like I am 19. I just can't believe how fast time goes! It feels like the older I get the faster it goes! But looking back on my life this far I really wouldn't change a thing. I have the best husband and family and over all just a great life. So I am excited to see what the next 30 years bring... hopefully a skinner body!!! A girl can dream right. My husband took me out for sushi a few days before since he would be hunting on my actual bday. It was so yummy and so much fun to actually be together on a real date! The day of my bday my neighbor brought me cinnamon rolls, my kids made me cards, my in laws sent flowers, then I packed up my kiddos and head to St. George to see the Little Mermaid. My sis Linzy rode with me which definitely helped make the time go quicker. When we got to St. George my mom and Nikki were there with balloons, lemon pie and the nicest book ever. They had everyone in our family right a letter to me, with lots of pics too. I started balling when I read the letters. I seriously have the best family ever!! SO thanks to everyone who made my bday the best ever!

What can I say about my little mac other then he is the best kid ever. He is always so sweet and tender hearted. He always tells me how much he loves me and even enjoys hanging out with his mom still. For his bday he wanted a motorcycle game, to eat chinese food and go to the skate park. SO thats what we did. We also had a bunch of his buddies meet us at the park for some serious bike riding. Mac LOVES to ride bikes, especially if there are jumps involved. The tricks he does on that little bike are so impressive! I love this little guy!

Jadi started 2nd grade...... CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. But I always tell everyone Jadi was born to go to school. She loves it so much. She has become quite an amazing reader, reading Harry potter right now! She loves everything about school. I love to see her so happy. Jadi has such a great group of friends which is probably why she loves going to school so much:) I hope 2nd grade goes slow so she will stop growing!!

Ry,Ry turned two and I am so sad. He is not my baby anymore. Nor does he want us to call him a baby. He loves to do exactly what the big kids do always. We gave him motorcycle and a strider bike and yes he loves it. We took him out for pizza and when we would ask him what he wanted for his bday he would say, a" Cupcake."

Ry Ry is my free spirit child. He is Mr. independent. He loves sleeping in a big boy bed. Refuses to nap,cause only babies take naps and loves everything motorcycle. yes he is more obsessed then Mac was at age 2. He is my best cuddler and tells me he "bubs" me everyday. But watch out when hes mad he starts swinging and no one is safe. Court wanted to give him a strider bike instead of a bike with training wheels, so he would learn how to balance faster. I thought it would take him forever to figure it out, but he did it in a matter of days. He flies on this bike and has no fear of going fast. Court is ready for him to ride a motorcycle. Me not so much!

I guess I didn't take very many pics but the Christianse reunion did not disappoint. Our family was in charge this year and it was so much fun. We played minute to win it, had a washers tournament (which Court and I won) but whose bragging!! The kids had a pinata, did pedis, made marsh mellow guns and literally rolled in the dirt all day!!! It was so much fun, but the best part was the raffle where Court and I took home the grand prize of his grandmas levi quilt. She makes one every year and we finally won! Holla

This year Courts mom had the brilliant idea of celebrating all the grandkids bday together. Yes my kids bdays are all 2 weeks apart. ( fertile in the winter I guess) and Walkers bday is the day after Jadi's so it was perfect. She rented this amazing bounce house, had Lasagna for dinner, sang to each child and opened a million presents. I am pretty sure my kids thought it was Christmas. It was awesome.

First of all I have to say I can't believe I have a 7 year old. WOW time flies! Anywho for her birthday she wanted a P.J. movie night. So thats what we did. We have popcorn and games and then they watched about 10 minutes a movie before they all headed outside to dance. haha Jadi is getting so big. She has become quite the fashionista ( which we definitely don't have the same taste) and wants to be incharge of everything she wears. GRRR She is the best big sister ever and is always willing to play with her little bros. She took swimming lessons this summer and turned into a little mermaid. Seriously she can stay in the pool longer then anyone, wearing goggles the whole time. Look at those tan little legs! She is so much fun to be around. She has become quite the jokester lately. She loves reading and has become quite the Harry Potter fan. We love you Jadi

This was a super fun day. I ran the Timp half marathon in the morning. Loved it and ran it in my best time yet. Can I get a woot-woot! Then we went with some neighbors, my parents, and kars and Linzy to the Nephi enduro cross. It was so much fun. The kids loved it. It was awesome. Courtney didn't race it but is going to for sure next year. It looked like so much fun!

All my family was able to get together over the 24th of July. We aren't able to be together as much as we would like, but when we do get together it never disappoints. Mac has become quite the little racer. I was so worried about letting him race so young, but he absolutely loves it. He is aways the smallest racer out there, but usually ends up towards the front of the pack. This was his first race without a crash, which he was pretty excited about. I was worried about Courtney pushing him into racing, but if you know him you know that everything he loves has to do with motorcycles! All of his toys are motorcycles, and he can watch motorcycle videos for hours.

Courtney had a race in Price so we decided to get a hotel room the night before. Our kids love staying in a hotel! We went to dinner then came back and to swim the night away. Our kids have turned into little fish. They are swimming so well. Jadi and Mac can swim on their own which seems crazy to me, but they love it.

We have the best neighbors/ friends ever! We were able to spend the 4th of July with them . During the day we went swimming up at my parents house. It was so much fun. the kids were able to play dibble dabble this year and they did better then the adults. Then we came back to our house for a BBQ and fireworks. The kids ran around like crazy people all night long. The firework show was amazing, everyone brought some pretty crazy fireworks. Until next year!!!

Parduhn Family reunion

This year my grandpa Parduhn set up a big family reunion in their AMAZING St. George rental house. It was such a blast, and we did not want to come home. It was so much fun to hang out with all my cousins, aunts/uncles and their families. The kids loved the castle room in the house and pretty much stayed there all day. We went to Zions to hike, we hiked to a water fall with a pond we could swim in. Went shooting at a shooting range, played Bocci on the golf course and midnight, stayed up late, road bikes and just had the best time ever!!! Thanks Grandpa and Carolyn.

So we had our annual friends memorial day camping trip, but with a few changes. We watched the weather all week and when they said it was supposed to rain ( surprise,surprise) we decided to camp close to home. So we went in the hills outside of Eagle Mountain. It was fabulous. The kids had so much fun and when it started raining sunday morning we just packed up and came home. haha I didn't take very many pictures this year , another huge surprise but we had lots of fun!!

I don't even know where to start with this post. The only thing that keeps coming to mind is, BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! My friend Tiffany put it best, " the highs were high and the lows were low." We have been anticipating this race for what seems like a year and when the day finally came it did not disappoint. We were in van 2 , which in my opinion was definitely the harder van. hehe Our first run didn't start until around 1:30 in the afternoon so it was definitely hot hot hot. But we were all so pumped that it was no problem. I finished my leg of 4 miles in 32 minutes, so I was definitely feeling great. After our first leg we decided to drive to what we thought was the next exchange with van 1. However we were sitting at exchange 16 why van 1 was coming into exchange 18...... ooops our bad. So we drove as fast as we could to 18, but lost almost an hr of much needed time. It was horrible. So we finally started our 2nd leg around 11:45pm. Lisa went first, did great and we were on to our 2nd runner Shannon. She was running down hill, tripped and fell pretty hard. Her leg started swelling immediately so we had someone else jump out and finish her leg. Then Sarah went and then me. It was so dang dark and I was on a dirt trail that kept crossing through water....( I hate wet feet) It honestly felt like the longest 8 miles of my life. haha. I finished strong but wet. then our final 2 runners finished. We finished our 2nd leg aroun 7am. We were all so tired and a little mentally spent. SO we decided to head to Sarahs moms house in Heber. IT was so nice we were able to shower and rest. But for me there was no resting. I starting getting stomach pains so bad, I could hardly stand it. Then the throwing up came and it was even worse. I was doubled over in pain. I kept having flash backs of my gallbladder pains. GRRRRRR I was so dang mad. I knew I still had my hardest leg ahead of me and was not about to have another runner run my leg.Sarah got super sick too. It was not good. Our team was already feeling the heat and both mine and Sarahs problems were not helping. After a few hrs I was finally able to keep down a powerade and told my team I was running. Sarah did the same. So At the final exchange with van one we were off again. We had to have another person run Shannons leg, but everyone else would run their own. Sarah started the "RAGNAR HILL" and was so dizzy, she had nothing in her stomach but finished strong. Then it was my turn. I usually don't mind hills but this was more like a hike. I kept thinking just one more hill, then I would get to what I thought was the top and it kept going and going and going. haha I was super weak but our car followed me the whole way cheering me on. When I finally finished I was so excited, relieved, sad it was over everything. There were so many emotions going through me. Angela and Tiffany finished strong and that was it, it was over and........ I loved it. As crazy as everything was, I have never laughed so hard or loved a race more. I had the best group of women with me ever and together we had a blast. It was so much fun honking our horns and cheering all the runners on. There were so many people there. It was fun to get to know others along the way. We wanted to Check it off our bucket list, but now we are already planning next year.

We did the women of steel Tri in May and let me tell you it was a treat. A ton of my neighbors, friends , cousin and most importantly MY MOM did it. IT was awesome. I was so proud of her. When she came into the finish line I started crying. She was so nervous and kept telling herself she couldn't do it. But she did it and loved it. I had a great race other then the fact my bike had shifting issues. haha

Court raced in Delta a few weeks ago. It was so much fun. The weather was perfect, which made the kids happy. They rolled in the dirt all day. Ryder loves coming to the races and never cries until its time to leave. He won 2nd place so he was happy.

Both Courtney and Mac had a motorcycle race in St. George. I didn't take very many pictures because it pretty much rained the entire race. Macs race wasn't to bad, but Courtneys was a muddy mess! My amazing sister Nikki took Ryder and Jadi home so they didn't have to sit in the rain. Mac did so good in his race. It was muddy and a lot bigger track then he is used to so even though he wrecked a few times he still got 4th place. We are so proud of him, he never cried one time and most the kids he raced against were 7 and 8 yrs old. Court did so good in his race. He placed 2ND in his class . We went to the awards ceremony that night and they both got trophies. They were both so excited. haha

Mac had a field trip at the fire station and he loved it. He thought it was so awesome to see all the firemen and all their big trucks! Ryder also loved it and when their class went to pose for a picture, he was determined to be in it as well. haha

My kids always look forward to Valentines day, and this year didn't disappoint. We had our pink pancake breakfast, with pink milk. For some reason the pink milk is their absolute favorite. haha I was able to go help with Jadi's v-day party at her school. It was fun to see her get so excited about giving everyone a Valentine. Mac also had a V-day party at school, he didn't love getting all the "girly" cards! That night Court brought home Chinese food and we had a candlelight dinner with the kids! It was so fun.

We helped my little brother propose to Mandee and............................. she said yes! It was so cute, and she was totally surprised! The kids each took her a rose one at a time, reading a poem he wrote for her. At the very end Ryder gave her the ring on a pillow! So cute and we are so excited!!

We took the kids classic skating saturday. They all loved it. The boys scooted while Jadi tested out her new rollerskates and she actually picked it up pretty fast. She was doing it all by herself. We will definitely be going back this winter!

Ok so my husband was in charge of the camera for the Christiansen Christmas day party and this is the amount of pics that he took. Courts mom gave Jadi the cutest robe. Yes she also asked for a robe??? McCord got a big Geo tracks set and Ryder a Thomas train. She made a really yummy Christmas dinner and we just spent the day visiting and playing with toys. We had such a great Christmas. I love spending time with all my family and going to the different family Christmas parties. We truely have the best family in the world!!

Santa did not disappoint at our house this year. My boys got a "gas powered" motorcycle, that santa thought McCord was ready for. He also brought them new riding goggles. I don't think Mccord new what to do when he saw it. but he loves it and so does Ryder. He cries every time we make him get off. Haha Jadi Got rollerskates, a new scooter, littlest pet shop stuff and a new doll. She was sooo excited. She loves her skates. My family came over early Christmas morning so they could see them open up their gifts. It was so much fun. I wish I would have taken more pics!

The big race

Saturday morning was the boys big race. Mac's was first and he was so excited. But when they all started their bikes he started crying because he was so nervous. I felt so bad. But as soon as the race actually started he was all smiles! He did awesome. The course was alot harder this time with some pretty steep hills but he only wrecked once and got right back on. All the other people there know who he is because he is by far the youngest, smallest rider out there and were all cheering him on. Court(my little devil) also did great. He finished 2ND in his class and 40Th over all out of 200 riders. I love being able to watch him ride, but it also makes me so nervous! Way to go boys

Last Friday we pulled our trailer to Indianola for Courtney, Bryants and Macs motorcycle race. We had a blast. The night before all the kids got in their costumes and went trickortreating to all the trailers. Then we all went down to this big tent they decorated and had cotton candy, hot chocolate, played games, and watched a movie. The kids loved it. We will definitely be going back to this race next yr!

This yr we decided to host our first annual family pumpkin carving contest. We have some really great neighbors, so we decided to turn it into a killer contest. We did all the carving in our garage. (yes don't look to careful its not pretty) Then all the kiddos played a Halloween bingo while the adults had a mean game of banana grams. Everyone came out a winner but the Stocks took home the "top Pumpkin" prize. Ours got the "sweet spirit" award. Maybe next year. Overall it was a great night and we can't wait to do it again next year!

We took our annual trip to Garder Village to see all the witches only this year we had a new cousin to come with us. Madden, Linzy and my mom came along! It was lots of fun. My kids got their faces painted, got to see all the witches and enjoy some yummy treats from the candy store. That was definitely Ryders favorite part!

We went to Idaho for Courtney to race and as usual he did amazing. He won first place in his class! He loves its so much and now McCord loves it just as much. So we finally let him race! Yes my four yr old actually raced with 8 and 9 yr olds! Both Courtney and I were so dang nervous. We both got a little teary eyed waiting for it to start. But he did amazing. He only wrecked once and never even cried. He got right back on and kept going. He is already asking when the next one will be!

We love going to the State Fair. It never disappoints! Our kids love seeing the animals and riding on the rides! they all went down the yellow slide and even though they got a little nervous they all did great! Jadi entered into the Radio Disney contest. They had to answer different questions about Disney shows and Jadi won first place. She won four tickets to the aquarium! yay

Camping with the Stocks

We went camping with our neighbors the Stocks over Labor Day. We took them down to the beloved Mayfield! It was lots of fun! The kids loved being able to play together and we loved when they all went to bed so we could sit around the fire and talk!!!! We went fishing, road motorcycles, played games and ate lots and lots of food! The only bad thing is we had to cut the trip a day short because the wind got so bad we couldn't even be outside. So hopefully next yr the weather will cooperate!

This year for Macs birthday all he wanted was a "friend" birthday party! So we decided to have a bike party. Courtney made plates for them to decorate and put on their bikes. We did obstacle courses. Went off all the jumps and finished with a pinata! He loved it so much. His favorite thing to do is ride his bike and motorcycle. He loves jumping on the tramp and can even do a back flip! He loves going to preschool and hates waiting for Jadi to get home from school to play. Happy birthday buddy we love you!

Yes, I was crazy enough to sign up for the Hobble Creek Half Marathon again. Only this time I had lots of friends crazy enough to do it with me. My always running partner in crime ( even though I don't have pics of us?) Tiffany, my cousin Jodi and Angela and her hubby all did it with us. It was awesome and I even improved my time by 5 minutes. wahoo! I finished in 2hrs and 10 minutes. Yay

Jadi and McCord both played soccer this year. Jadi played Wed nights and McCord played Thursday nights. It definitely made for some very busy weeks but we loved being able to watch them. Jadi did such an awesome job this year. She learned the right way to dribble the ball, and hot to shoot too! McCord was a natural. He scored tons of goals and was able to get right in there even though he was the smallest one out there. He did have a tendency to cry on the field if he didn't get the ball etc. Yeah we are working on that one. It was lots of fun and we can't wait til next year!

We celebrated Ryders birthday with a pool party at Nanny Kaylas and grandpa Daves! Ryder absolutely loves being in the water, so we found it only fitting! my brother Zach knows the head guy at the dinosaur museum, so he was able to take us on a tour behind the scenes of the museum. My kids loved it. We learned so many awesome things. They were able to hold real bones and even got to take a few home. They loved it, and I loved it. Thanks again uncle Zach!

We decided to put Jadi and Mac in private swimming lessons this year at my moms house. It was awesome. The teacher was great the kids loved it and they learned so much. They are both turning into little fishes! They love jumping off the diving board, swimming with their goggles and not having to wear their arm floats! We can't wait for next summer

Jadi's b-day party

Ok, so I am way beind on my blog. Jadi's b-day was a couple weeks ago and we had a cupcake party. Everything had to be cupcakes! First all the girls decorated aprons, then they decorated their own cupcakes, then we played a cupcake walk game. Jadi's shirt even had a cupcake on it. When she said everything cupcake she definitely meant it. Thanks to my amazing friend Kara who let me borrow all her cupcake decorations. She totally loved it. This is the first time she wanted an "all girl" party, but as you can see in the group shot there is a cute little McCord and My friend Lisa's little boy Ty! They were both really good sports! Jadi is so lucky to have soo many cute girls that live by us that are her age. She definitely has quite the little social life! Happy birthday Jadi girl! We love you so much and hope you had the best birthday ever!

Wow I can't believe my baby is already one years old. This past year has gone by so fast! I have so many mixed emotions about him turning one. In some ways its been a long year worrying about his health all the time, but in other ways it feels like I just had him yesterday. Ryder is definitely our, " on the go" baby. When hes awake hes moving. If you can't find him he's either climbing the stairs, playing in the bathroom, pulling out all the toys in Jadi's room, or trying to get in the tub. He is so busy. He absolutely loves Courtney's motorcycle and stands by our garage door saying, vroom-vroom until we finally give in and go set him on it. I actually think he is more obsessed with motorcycles than Mac was at his age! He sleeps anywhere and is known to take two 2 1/2 hr naps a day. He LOVES food and will eat anything and everything. I swear he is never full! He is always happy. He very rarely cries (unless hes hungry) He loves almost everyone and will give you the biggest open mouth kiss you have ever had! He says momma and dadda, and even knows how to yell at my parents dog! He is the sweetest little boy ever and has brought so much joy into our home. We love him to pieces and can't imagine life without our little Ry-Ry!

My dad bought the grand kids a little motorcycle. Mac was so excited to ride it! He hopped on they told him how to use the throttle and then he was off. He crashed once but then totally figured it out. He was standing on it and doing tricks, going off a ramp in like 10 minutes! I was scared to death watching but his dad was practically crying he was so proud. Courtney is entering him in his first race in August. I will probably be way to nervous watch. What makes this even worse is I think Ryder already has the riding bug! When ever he even sees a motorcycle he makes the vroom-vroom noise, and cry'swhen his turn is over. Can't they be obsessed with something safer!

I was able to go to my high school 10yr reunion a few weeks ago. It was so much fun! I don't think I have laughed that hard in ages!
